Salam Namaste

India is the nation with the first largest muslim population in the world in a non-muslim country. With about the 14% of the country population and 120 millions of people, the muslim are a consistent part of Indian culture and economy. Integrated, isolated by others or by choice, discriminated or respected, the muslim in India are unique paradox, like a country within a country. This is the story of the sometimes uneasy cohabitation of a peculiar mix of identities, religions and cultures in a peculiar place like India with no comparison in the world.
